After a much deserved break, I am back and ready to get busy with teaching and learning and all things blog related.
I spend much of today creating and learning about using Facebook with the hope that it will be another way to connect with teachers and share the things I am learning about teaching. I am working on a big giveaway to celebrate having a Facebook page and will be giving away winner's choice from my store. Stay tuned tomorrow for more information.
If you can't wait until tomorrow, check out my new Facebook page! Any tips and hints to getting started with this would be greatly appreciated!
Hope you have a great 2014!
I love having a Facebook page! There is so much instant interaction and it's a fun way to share things quickly versus finding time to blog every thing I do. Slow and steady... you'll figure it out!
ReplyDeleteIt has taken me quite a few hours today. I guess after the initial investment of time and trying to figure things out, it should get easier!
DeleteYour blog looks wonderful. I am headed out to see your facebook page too. I just updated my fb page to catch up. I am trying to keep up with all these new things I am learning for this year's New Year's Resolution. Would love to follow you and keep learning! Happy New Year and good luck with your Give-away! Karen
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
DeleteI'm a little bit happy my kids are past the hammer and loud toys stage...although we hear lots of singing and music..a different kind of noise. I'll be checking out that FB page!

I am a big fan of putting packing tape on the speakers of all the noisy toys. It takes the volume down to about 40%. It makes it livable when my own kids and my nieces and nephews are all hear playing with noisy toys at the same time
DeleteThe copier and laminator sound like great ideas! No lines! Always prepared! You know you're a teacher when those are at the top of your wishlist!

No lines! I hadn't thought of that!
DeleteI have a small laminator at home, but the idea of a big one and a copier? Pure bliss! Maybe next year's Christmas wish list? LOL! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI used to have a small laminator but it was more trouble than it was worth!
DeleteI would love to have a copier and laminator at home! It would be fantastic to watch tv or have laundry going while you were doing your work. Just imagine! Have a great first day back!

I think getting laundry done while doing other work would be the ultimate part of working from home.

Thanks! I have some great ideas for teaching primary mathematics. Hope you learn something new!
DeleteThe copier and laminator (industrial ones) would be awesome! Good luck with your facebook page. Just in case you didn't know you can link your FB page to do a post each time you finish a post on your blog (I don't remember how I did it, but you can google it). Take care!
